What Pregame reads
After OAuth, you choose which Notion database to use as the calendar source. Pregame then reads upcoming entries, attendees, and meeting times.
📅 Calendar entries
Event titles, start/end times, and locations from the chosen Notion Calendar database — used to schedule readiness signal generation ~1 hour ahead of each meeting.
👥 Attendee emails
Per-event attendee email addresses when present — compared against your own domain to identify external contacts and pull their LinkedIn / company data for the brief.
🔁 Auto-Prep trigger
Any event with at least one external attendee becomes an auto-brief candidate — opens the meeting record in /app, generates the readiness signal, and emails it to you.
🔒 Read-only access
Pregame requests read access only. We never modify existing pages, create new entries in your workspace, or interact with any other Notion resource.
OAuth scopes
Notion OAuth uses capability-based grants. Pregame requests only the minimum read access required to surface upcoming meetings.

Notion does not use traditional OAuth scopes — instead, when you connect, Notion displays a workspace picker and Pregame only receives access to the specific Notion Calendar database you select. Tokens are valid until app revocation (no expiry), and you can disconnect from this page at any time.

Pregame has read access to your selected Notion Calendar database. Auto-prep is wired up via the token-health scheduler and runs every 15 minutes.

How auto-prep works
Once connected, Pregame polls the Notion Calendar database on a rolling 7-day window to surface upcoming external meetings.

Poll Notion API
Every 15 minutes, Pregame pulls upcoming entries from the connected database and filters events scheduled in the next 60–120 minutes.

Deduplicate & enrich
Each detected external meeting is deduped by event ID. Attendees are resolved through LinkedIn + company lookup to feed the readiness signal.

Readiness signal emailed to you
Pregame generates the briefing and posts it to your inbox (and optionally Slack) — with the Pregame Score, talking points, and triggers — well before the meeting starts.
